October 17, 2013 – As third grade students learn about immigration, they have analyzed primary documents and studied data to to learn  how immigration patterns have changed over time.  The New York Times and Library of Congress have  great online resources.

States Fair, 2013

It was another great year for the 3rd Grade States Fair! Students worked hard at school doing research and writing reports, and then worked hard at home creating maps.  The end result was amazing.  Take a look at the slide show below to get a glimpse of the projects.

Apologies in advance from the photographer for blurry photos and missed students. Some pictures were just too blurry to post. If anyone has photos from the fair, please email them to Mrs. Williams.

Keep those photos coming! Thank you parents for sharing.

Challenge:  What was your favorite thing about the state fair?  Let us know in the comments.
